I needed good excuse to get to DFW this year before my folks sell our house, so when my friend Brittany asked if I was interested in shooting this wedding with her I said “HELL YEA.”

Good lord was this not the most photogenic couple with the most Pinterest-worthy wedding day. I’m STILL jittery from the espresso truck they hired to caffeinate everyone before the ceremony!

HOLY EFFING CRAP.

Marissa and Pat flew me to Key West for a weekend to shoot their wedding and it was such an adventure! The DAY OF the wedding, I kayaked through mangroves with nurse sharks, took a helicopter around the island, then laid around the pool with a cocktail. After all of that amazing-ness, I got dressed and headed to The Southernmost Beach Resort to begin my “work-day.” We drank, we laughed, we took trolleys around the island, and these love birds said their nuptials at sunset under a huge palm at Fort Zachary Taylor State Park. It was perfection. Also, someone else please do this so I can repeat it!
